The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Green stands and steps away. Serrano gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Serrano fires out a quick counter leg kick but Green just manages to avoid it.

Green throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Serrano was covering up waiting for the punch and Green finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Green wants to control from the top but Serrano keeps moving.
Serrano is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Serrano has a closed guard, preventing Green from standing up.

Green decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Serrano counters with a left and a right that stings Green.
Serrano dodges the punch combination from Green.
Serrano appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Green shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Serrano eats them both and turns towards Green to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Serrano is rocked!

It looks like Hyman Serrano has been cut.

Green shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Serrano is on queer street and Green is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
