The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaj throws a series of strikes that have De Roncevaux backpedaling.
It looks like Roland De Roncevaux has been cut.
Yaj moves out of range of the strikes.
Yaj ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Yaj appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Yaj just misses with a punch to the body.
A jab from Yaj misses.
Yaj throws a looping overhand right but De Roncevaux ducks down to avoid it.
A telegraphed right hand from Yaj misses the target.
De Roncevaux misses with a double jab.
Yaj dips to his left and cracks De Roncevaux with an uppercut!
Yaj lands a jab to De Roncevaux 's midsection.
De Roncevaux displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Rio Yaj has been cut.

De Roncevaux misses with a low kick as Yaj jumps back.
Yaj misses with a takedown
enabling De Roncevaux to counter with a crisp jab.
De Roncevaux keeps Yaj at a distance using the push kick.
Yaj throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A little jabbing left from De Roncevaux on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Yaj misses with a body shot
and De Roncevaux counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Yaj dips to his left and cracks De Roncevaux with an uppercut!
Rio Yaj seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yaj closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
De Roncevaux throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Yaj works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yaj misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Yaj throws an overhand right that lands on De Roncevaux 's shoulder, as De Roncevaux tries to avoid the shot.
De Roncevaux digs a good hook to Yaj's body.
De Roncevaux lands with a good body shot.
Yaj is breathing heavily.
A nice inside leg kick there by De Roncevaux . That's going to slow Yaj down.
Yaj tries to clinch there but De Roncevaux circles away.
Yaj lands with a shot to the body.
De Roncevaux ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yaj moves away.

Yaj cracks De Roncevaux with a right hand to the side of the head.
Yaj throws a lazy uppercut
and De Roncevaux connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Yaj throws a combination but it was largely blocked by De Roncevaux .
Yaj looks to clinch
and De Roncevaux counters with a slapping leg kick.
De Roncevaux feints and then cracks Yaj's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yaj down.
The crowd cheers as Yaj lands an impressive looking overhand right. De Roncevaux doesn't seem phased though.
De Roncevaux throws a head kick that misses.
De Roncevaux slips a straight right by Yaj.
Yaj shoots in but no luck this time.
Yaj throws a combination that misses
and De Roncevaux counters with a straight right hand.
De Roncevaux misses with a right hand
and Yaj counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Yaj swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
De Roncevaux takes a swing at Yaj's ribcage but misses.

De Roncevaux jabs at Yaj's body.
De Roncevaux lands a glancing blow to the side of Yaj's head.
De Roncevaux lands a right hook to the body.
De Roncevaux thuds a left hand into Yaj's body.
Yaj chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before De Roncevaux can pounce on him.
De Roncevaux lands with a shot to the body.
Roland De Roncevaux is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jab, jab by De Roncevaux - just one landing.
Yaj misses with a double jab
and De Roncevaux counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
De Roncevaux comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
De Roncevaux lands with an overhand left.
De Roncevaux drops Yaj with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Yaj! De Roncevaux dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Roland De Roncevaux tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
