Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Tierney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janish Jasperdek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tierney's entrance music is Pantera - Walk. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Janish Jasperdek!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jasperdek takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Tierney throws a right hand that misses
and Jasperdek counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jasperdek is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jasperdek is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tierney has managed to free his arm - good work.
Jasperdek prevents Tierney from improving his position.
Tierney wants to get back to his feet.
Jasperdek trying to control from half guard but Tierney is working away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jasperdek is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Tierney to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Tierney keeping moving, preventing Jasperdek from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Tierney looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jasperdek is one step ahead there.
Jasperdek trying to control but Tierney is working from the bottom.
Tierney pulls Jasperdek in close to his closed guard and prevents Jasperdek from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jasperdek postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tierney is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jasperdek, into his guard.
Jasperdek escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tierney gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jasperdek is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Tierney has his hands clasped together but Jasperdek extends and breaks Tierney's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jasperdek.
