Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Napoleon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernardo Muriel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Napoleon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Napoleon slips under a jab.
Muriel swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Napoleon counters with a stiff right hand.
Muriel throws a series of punches but Napoleon moves out of range.
Napoleon looks to score with a jab to the body but Muriel is just out of range.
Napoleon lands with a shot to the body.
Napoleon scores with a nice body kick.
Napoleon just misses with a punch to the body.
Napoleon throws out a leg kick but Muriel moves out of range and Napoleon only half commits.
Napoleon cracks Muriel with an uppercut from hell and Muriel crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Napoleon's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
It looks like Bernardo Muriel has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Napoleon throws a strike but Muriel rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Muriel sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Napoleon's guard.
Muriel wants to take a breather but Napoleon is having none of it.
Napoleon is looking to escape.
Napoleon is looking for a sweep. Muriel is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Muriel passes into side control, despite Napoleon's attempt to control the position.
Napoleon wants to control but Muriel postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Muriel tries for a kimura but Napoleon is defending well.
Muriel goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Napoleon has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Muriel but great work by Napoleon.

Napoleon postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Muriel tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Napoleon misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Muriel parries the strikes from Napoleon easily there. Napoleon is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Muriel to escape.
Muriel wants to control but Napoleon postures up.
Napoleon sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Muriel is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Napoleon throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Napoleon lands with a kick to the temple. Muriel shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

A bone on bone clash there as Muriel blocks the leg kick.
Napoleon finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Muriel has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

and Napoleon counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Muriel down! Napoleon is looking to finish but Muriel is intelligently defending himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Muriel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Napoleon throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Muriel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Napoleon trying to control the position from guard on top but Muriel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Napoleon is looking to work some ground and pound but Muriel has wrist control.

Napoleon forces his way into half guard.
Napoleon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Muriel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Napoleon is taking a breather. Muriel says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Muriel has hold of Napoleon's hands but Napoleon slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Muriel is pressing down on Napoleon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Napoleon tries to free his leg and advance position but Muriel is retaining full guard.

Napoleon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Muriel can do to turn this around?
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Napoleon's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Napoleon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Buster Napoleon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Muriel pulls Napoleon in to control the position.
Napoleon wants to control from the top but Muriel keeps moving.
Muriel wants to sweep here but Napoleon controlling him for the moment.
Napoleon controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Muriel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And Napoleon counters with a quick kick to the body but Muriel blocks it.

Muriel lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Muriel pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Napoleon gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Muriel is looking to clinch.
Muriel throws a head kick that misses.
Napoleon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Muriel at a distance.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Muriel in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Muriel is breathing heavily.
Muriel has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Napoleon.

and Napoleon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Muriel throws a punch but it's blocked by Napoleon.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Muriel lands a hook to the side of the head.
Napoleon misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Napoleon tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Muriel's elbow.

Napoleon digs a right hand into Muriel's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Muriel's gas tank.

Napoleon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Muriel chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Napoleon can pounce on him.

A quick step to the side and Napoleon tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Napoleon takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Napoleon throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Muriel tumbling to the canvas!
Muriel is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Napoleon stands up over Muriel, holding on to his feet. Napoleon throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Muriel is out cold! Napoleon lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
