The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braxton avoids the body shot from Smiff.
Braxton swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Braxton drops Smiff with a beautiful combination! Smiff stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Braxton is looking for the KO!

It looks like Diatomaceous Smiff has been cut.
Braxton slips a jab from Smiff.
Braxton throws a right hand that Smiff ducks under and follows up with a left that Smiff also avoids with ease.
Smiff drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Braxton defends it well.
Smiff misses with a looping left.
Braxton displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smiff.
Smiff shoots for a double leg takedown but Braxton sprawls well. He's pushed Smiff's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Braxton appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smiff misses with a shot to the body

and Braxton counters with a crisp one two that drops Smiff! Braxton thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Smiff to his feet! Smiff is in big trouble!

Smiff throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smiff is still on wobbly legs! Can Braxton finish him?

and Smiff takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That has opened up Diatomaceous Smiff's cut even more.
Smiff uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Braxton.
Braxton slips a jab from Smiff.
Braxton swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Smiff seems to have recovered his senses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A low kick from Smiff misses
and Braxton cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Smiff scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Smiff shoots in but no luck this time.
Braxton throws a big counter combination but Smiff scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Zachary Braxton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Diatomaceous Smiff.

Braxton was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Smiff misses with a left hand
and Braxton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Braxton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Smiff.
Braxton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smiff moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Braxton shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Smiff eats them both and turns towards Braxton to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Braxton seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Smiff throws an off balance right hand
and Braxton counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Smiff with a poor takedown
and Braxton counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Smiff thinking.
Smiff looks winded!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Braxton knocks out Smiff with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Braxton before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Braxton picks up the big W with a huge KO!
