Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Lu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Strung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackie Lu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jay Strung's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lu tries to close the distance and clinch but Strung swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Strung lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Strung pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lu moves into the clinch.
Lu is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Lu gets through Strung's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Lu swings wildly with an uppercut but Strung uses good head movement to avoid it.
Strung wants a takedown but no success here.
Lu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lu pushes Strung back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Strung is working for takedown but Lu is calmly controlling the position for now.
Jackie Lu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Strung.
Lu stops a takedown attempt from Strung.
Lu gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Strung.
Strung drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lu gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Strung wants the takedown. Lu is fighting it off but Strung persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lu's guard against the cage.

Lu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Strung doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lu is tightening it up a little... Strung has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Strung reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Strung taps out! Nice BJJ there by Lu!
