Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Raul Gutierrez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hector Cruz!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz ducks under a wild hook from Gutierrez.
Gutierrez throws a nice looking combination but Cruz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gutierrez throws a series of punches but Cruz avoids them all with ease.
Gutierrez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cruz is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Gutierrez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
As Gutierrez backs off Cruz throws a huge counter combo but Gutierrez manages to avoid it all.

Cruz gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Gutierrez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Cruz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cruz misses with a double jab.
Sloppy strikes from Cruz. Those never looked like landing.
Gutierrez went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Cruz fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gutierrez is out of range.
Gutierrez is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Cruz moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Cruz!
