The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson misses with a body shot.
Parker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Robinson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Parker swats away the attempt to clinch by Robinson.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Robinson.
Parker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Robinson closes the distance looking to clinch
and Parker counters with a three punch combo that has Robinson backing up. Robinson nods at Parker to acknowledge the strikes.

Parker was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Robinson throws a sloppy head kick
and Parker counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Parker steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Robinson is out on his feet! Parker sets himself and nearly takes Robinson's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

After the fight, Joseph Parker was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
