Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Willie Salazar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Stoic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Willie Salazar has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Willie Salazar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Victor Stoic!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoic scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Salazar misses with a kick to the body.
Stoic walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Stoic slips a jab and a cross from Salazar.
Salazar tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stoic paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Salazar feints a jab promting Stoic to slip. Salazar then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stoic slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A punch combination from Salazar misses.
A combination from Salazar does no damage.
Salazar shoots and misses

and Stoic counters with a shoot takedown. Salazar fights it but they end up in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stoic seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Salazar can't keep his opponent in guard - Stoic advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Salazar trying to control but Stoic postures up.
Salazar scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Stoic manages to mount him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stoic avoids the attempt from Salazar to control.
Salazar tries to reverse the position but Stoic maintains control.
Stoic has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Salazar's face.
Salazar is wriggling around trying to escape.
My spies in The Factory inform me that Stoic has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Stoic dominating with strikes here.
Salazar tries to reverse the position but Stoic maintains control.
Salazar looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Stoic with a couple of short strikes.
Salazar tries to hold on but Stoic pushes him away.
The referee warns Salazar that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.


Salazar is rocked!
Stoic landing strikes from the mount.
Oh Salazar is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stoic postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Salazar bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Stoic and the fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Stoic!
After the fight, Victor Stoic was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
