The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Johnson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Johnson.
Johnson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Johnson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Johnson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nunez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Johnson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Johnson smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Nice sprawl there from Johnson as Nunez shoots in.
Johnson tries to clinch
and Nunez counters with a three punch combo that has Johnson backing up. Johnson nods at Nunez to acknowledge the strikes.
Johnson throws a head kick that Nunez semi-blocks.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson tries to clinch but Nunez is having none of it.
Johnson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
The fighters circle, before Johnson throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Nunez's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Johnson lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
