Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brendan Terrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Lars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander Lars will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terrell gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Lars counters with a takedown into side control.

Terrell sneaks out the side door and pushes Lars away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Lars escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Terrell throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lars tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Terrell is in Lars's guard.

Terrell stands and steps away. Lars gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That was a close round but I would say that Brendan Terrell will probably get the nod.

Lars's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Lars breaks the clinch.
Terrell on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Terrell is defended easily by Lars.
Lars drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Terrell defends it well.

and Lars counters with a crisp one two that drops Terrell! Lars thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Terrell to his feet! Terrell is in big trouble!

Terrell is rocked!

Lars rushes Terrell and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Terrell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Terrell is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lars is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Terrell to the mat. Terrell regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Lars pushes down on Terrell's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Lars is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Lars lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Terrell quite badly. Terrell pulls Lars in close trying to recover. Lars postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Terrell on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Terrell doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
