The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kulik closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sanchez quickly recovers to half guard.

Kulik decides to stand up.
Dmitry Kulik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kulik leaves Sanchez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kulik changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanchez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kulik has an Americana. Sanchez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kulik is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kulik hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
