Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Young Doogie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maciej Jewtuszko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maciej Jewtuszko is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Young Doogie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Maciej Jewtuszko!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jewtuszko doesn't manage to clinch there - Doogie circles away.

Doogie tries to score a body lock takedown but Jewtuszko shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Doogie is trying to drag Jewtuszko to the mat but Jewtuszko just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Doogie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Doogie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Doogie uses his free foot to push down on Jewtuszko's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jewtuszko.

Doogie is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jewtuszko can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Doogie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jewtuszko looks a forlorn figure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A close round but Maciej Jewtuszko will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
