The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson just misses with a punch to the body.
The fighters circling - Wilson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
It appears Cruz was looking to counter with a kick there.
Some wild striking there from Wilson.
Wilson throws a nice outside leg kick.
Cruz lands with a thumping leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilson throws a head kick that misses
and Cruz counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Wilson misses with a looping right.
As Wilson looks to move away, Cruz throws a big counter combo but Wilson just gets out of the way.
Wilson misses with a right hand
and Cruz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Slade Wilson has been cut.

Some bone on bone action there as Cruz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
It appears Cruz was looking to counter with a kick there.
Wilson throws a front kick aimed at Cruz's knee but Cruz avoids it well.
Cruz pounces like a tiger and cracks Wilson with a vicious hook! Wilson is down but not out! Cruz follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tre Cruz!
Tre Cruz spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
