Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geoffrey Cline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kumi Keijo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kumi Keijo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Geoffrey Cline!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cline circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cline could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Keijo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cline is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Cline seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Keijo for as long as he can get away with.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Keijo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cline manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cline's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Keijo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cline to the ground. Keijo is now in Cline's guard.
Keijo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Cline is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Cline is pulling down on Keijo's head to control his posture.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Cline shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Cline was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

You can see the frustration on Keijo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Cline is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Keijo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The referee asks Cline politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Cline prefers to stall for the moment though.
Geoffrey Cline overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Keijo tries to clinch there but Cline circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Keijo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Cline manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Keijo on his heels. He'll look to pass Keijo's guard now, I'm sure.

Keijo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Kumi Keijo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cline enables Keijo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cline manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Cline wriggles free and stands up.

Cline has one foot on Keijo's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Well Cline has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
