And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonalez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Azevedo.
Gonalez throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Azevedo's head.
Gonalez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Azevedo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Azevedo advances nicely into full mount.

Azevedo goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Gonalez is on top in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Azevedo looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Gonalez is defending well. Azevedo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Gonalez has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Azevedo celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
