Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josiah Bartlet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Blye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bartlet comes into the arena with The Clash - Police And Thieves blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blye dips to his left and cracks Bartlet with an uppercut!
Blye misses with a hook.
Bartlet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blye takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bartlet avoids the head kick by Blye.
Bartlet shoots in looking for a takedown. Blye tries to sprawl out of it but Bartlet keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Blye manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bartlet moves in looking to clinch but Blye pushes him off.

Blye closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bartlet did well to prevent Blye getting side control.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Blye lands a nice short elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
