The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vlad jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Raymundo Mcguire has been cut.

Vlad has managed to clinch.
Mcguire drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vlad gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Mcguire is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Mcguire is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Vlad is keeping busy.
Mcguire wants to stall.
Mcguire seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Vlad is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.
Vlad scores with a nice hook to the head.
Vlad has had enough of the clinch but Mcguire keeps him there for the moment.
Mcguire is looking to control Vlad's arms but Vlad gets an underhook and turns him. Now Mcguire has his back to the cage.
Vlad wants to break free but Mcguire has control.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mcguire pulls guard successfully.

Vlad stands and steps away. Mcguire gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Vlad moves into the clinch successfully.
Mcguire stalling in the clinch but Vlad improves position.
Vlad lands on the inside with an uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mcguire tries to pull guard but Vlad holds him up against the cage and eventually Mcguire drops back down to his feet.

Mcguire is rocked!
Vlad has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Oh Mcguire is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vlad lands with a short shot to the head.
Vlad throws a big uppercut that drops Mcguire! More strikes from Vlad and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Mcguire lies dazed against the cage as Vlad celebrates with his cornermen!
