Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bragi Ragnarson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Petely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ragnarson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Petely to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Petely is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ragnarson controlling the position.

Petely connects with a couple of short punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Petely is nestled in close to Ragnarson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Ragnarson tries to lock up and control but Petely gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Petely is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ragnarson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Ragnarson is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at LOD: Legion's PIT Fight Club, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Petely looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Petely lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Petely stands up over Ragnarson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Ragnarson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Petely bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ragnarson's guard.

Petely drops back looking for a leg! Ragnarson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ragnarson manages to kick Petely off! Petely jumps back into Ragnarson's guard.
Petely postures up in Ragnarson's guard and throws a big left but Ragnarson blocks it.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ragnarson leaves Petely with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ragnarson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Petely if he has to take too many more of those.
Petely throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ragnarson.
Petely shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ragnarson defends it nicely.

Petely chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ragnarson can pounce on him.
Petely dives in for a single leg takedown but Ragnarson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Petely misses the shot to the body.
Ragnarson throws a monster overhand right that drops Petely! Ragnarson follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
