Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joesph Walls!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jackson Teller!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Teller moves into the clinch successfully.
Walls is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Teller to keep the fight standing.
Teller has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Walls avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Teller tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Walls avoids it.
Teller goes for a takedown in the clinch but Walls prevents it.
Teller is trying to pull guard but Walls turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Joesph Walls has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Teller.

Walls stands and steps away. Teller gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Walls shoots for a takedown but Teller saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Teller lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Walls is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Teller's half guard.

Walls is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Teller presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Teller wants to sweep here but Walls controlling him for the moment.
Walls has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Walls stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Teller dives in for a single leg takedown but Walls sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Walls gets tackled into the cage by Teller. Teller maintains the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Walls.
Teller drops down looking for an ankle pick but Walls pulls his leg out and moves away.

Horrible takedown attempt by Walls or perhaps it was just good defense by Teller, which made it look bad.

Teller has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Walls uses from the top position.

That was a close round but I would say that Joesph Walls will probably get the nod.

and Walls counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Teller tries for a takedown but Walls sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Walls throws a sloppy head kick and Teller moves out of range easily.

Walls has one foot on Teller's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Walls is trying to drag Teller to the mat but Teller just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Teller comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Teller closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Walls quickly recovers to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Walls decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Teller looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Walls slaps away a takedown attempt from Teller, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Teller shoots in looking for a takedown. Walls tries to sprawl out of it but Teller keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Walls manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joesph Walls will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Walls has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Teller is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

It looked like Walls was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Walls darts in and clinches Teller up against the cage.

Walls wants to get up but he can't break Teller's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Walls will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Teller fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Walls avoids it really well and circles away.

Teller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Teller has his foot on Walls's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Walls works his way back into a safe position though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Teller can do anything to dispel that myth.

Teller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walls can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
