Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bart Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarko Vatanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simpson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Coming Home. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson misses with a low kick as Vatanen jumps back.
Vatanen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Simpson as he avoids it easily.
Vatanen tries to clinch but Simpson moves out of range.
Simpson throws a hook but Vatanen blocks it.
Simpson throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Jarko Vatanen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vatanen is defended easily by Simpson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vatanen moves out of range of the strikes.
Vatanen tries to close the distance and clinch but Simpson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

That kick from Vatanen tenderised Simpson's leg. Simpson is trying to keep his angry face on.

Vatanen gets control of Simpson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Vatanen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Simpson advances to half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Simpson in particular looking to stall.

Vatanen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Simpson pulls his head out easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vatanen can do anything to dispel that myth.

Simpson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Vatanen could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Simpson has cracked it and Vatanen is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Simpson!
