The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMuffin looking to score a takedown here. Valenti is defending well but McMuffin drives through and ends up in Valenti's guard.
McMuffin wants to control from the top but Valenti keeps moving.
Valenti looking for a guillotine here but McMuffin defends easily.
McMuffin missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
McMuffin in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McMuffin throwing strikes from guard but Valenti blocks nicely.
Valenti looking for a guillotine here but McMuffin defends easily.
McMuffin looking to sit in guard and control but Valenti gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Valenti drops back looking for a leg! McMuffin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McMuffin manages to kick Valenti off! Valenti jumps back into McMuffin's guard.
McMuffin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Valenti is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Valenti thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Valenti drops back looking for a leg! McMuffin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McMuffin manages to kick Valenti off! Valenti jumps back into McMuffin's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McMuffin is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Valenti rolls with it to try and escape but McMuffin cranks on the arm and Valenti is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
