The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans is trying hard to land a takedown here. Shepherd sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Shepherd scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Shepherd stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jack Shepherd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shepherd throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Evans stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Shepherd looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Evans can't hide his disappointment, as Shepherd celebrates the victory.
