PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Klinton Klant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Wiggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klant has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Klinton Klant!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Wiggins!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiggins lands with a kick to the temple. Klant shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Wiggins wants to clinch.
Wiggins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wiggins throws a one two combo.
Klant fails to land with a series of punches.
Klant is breathing heavily.
Wiggins feints and then cracks Klant's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Klant down.
Klant misses with a head kick.
Wiggins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Klant swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wiggins stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Klant waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wiggins.
Wiggins moves away from the strike by Klant.
Wiggins lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Klant backs up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Klant takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Wiggins.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wiggins misses with a head kick.
Wiggins lands a really nice looking cross but Klant seems unphased.
Klant jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A slapping leg kick lands for Wiggins.

Wiggins has managed to clinch.

Wiggins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wiggins lands a leg kick that knocks Klant off balance momentarily.
Wiggins fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Klant.
A solid body kick from Wiggins.
Wiggins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Wiggins drops Klant with a right and a left! Wiggins comes rushing in but Klant regains his composure and manages to keep Wiggins in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wiggins lands a couple of digs.

Klant is rocked!
Wiggins postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Klant covers up, he's hurt! Wiggins keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Wiggins and the ref steps in to end the fight! Wiggins can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrew Wiggins!
Andrew Wiggins spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
