Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sebastian Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Callum Swagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sebastian Case!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Callum Swagger!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swagger scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Case throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Swagger's head.

Swagger looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Case!

Swagger tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Swagger has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Case really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Case wants to control but Swagger postures up.
Swagger trying to control the position but Case is working away.
Case avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Swagger.

Case is not content to let Swagger control the position.

Swagger tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Swagger should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Swagger tries to move into full mount but can't pass Case's legs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Swagger controlling the position from side mount.
Swagger wants to control but Case is keeping him busy.
Case is working to avoid the ground and pound but Swagger connects with a decent elbow.

Swagger is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Case is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Swagger tries to move to mount but Case blocks the move with his legs.

Swagger looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Swagger decides to stand up, so the ref orders Case to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Swagger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Case moves away.

Swagger shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Case manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Case has his hands on Swagger's head, controlling the position.
Case bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Swagger's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Swagger looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Swagger controls Case momentarily but Case frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Callum Swagger dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Swagger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Case counters with a head kick.
Callum Swagger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Swagger throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Case was covering up waiting for the punch and Swagger finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Swagger wants to stand and escape but instead Case has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Swagger throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Swagger is trying to control the position but Case postures up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Case accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Case has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Case postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Swagger is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Case, into his guard.

Swagger postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Swagger drops back, looking for a kneebar! Case looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Case looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Case!

Swagger takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Swagger has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

A control attempt from Swagger but he's now mounted!
Swagger is trying to escape the mount.
Swagger tries to hold on but Case pushes him away.
Case prevents Swagger from getting the reversal.
Case avoids the attempt from Swagger to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Swagger tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Swagger avoids a series of strikes thrown by Case.
Swagger wants to hold on but Case pushes him away.
Swagger is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Case is staying active.

Case throwing strikes but Swagger uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Case is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Swagger tries to kick Case off but Case keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Case sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Swagger defending well though.
Case missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Swagger makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Swagger.
Case is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Swagger tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Swagger wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Case is now in half guard.
Case thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Swagger controlling the position for now.
Case thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Swagger's head.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sebastian Case dominated that second round.
That's time! Case's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

and Case counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Swagger wants a takedown.
Case is stalling here.
Case jumps guard but Swagger stands there with Case around his waist. Case gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Case has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Swagger avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Case tries to pull guard but Swagger forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sebastian Case. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Swagger is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Case drops down looking for an ankle pick but Swagger pulls his leg out and moves away.

Swagger works over Case's head and body with a nice combination.
Swagger dives in and grabs Case's left leg, looking for a takedown. Case pushes down on Swagger's head and hops out.

Case closes the distance and clinches.
Swagger tries to pull guard but Case forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Swagger working hard to break the clinch.
Case drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Swagger prevents a takedown attempt there.
Swagger trying to land knees to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Swagger has Case pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Case manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Swagger jumps guard but Case turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Swagger takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Case breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Swagger shoots in looking for a takedown but Case manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Swagger's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Case counters with a three punch combo that has Swagger backing up. Swagger nods at Case to acknowledge the strikes.

Case closes the distance and pushes Swagger back into the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Callum Swagger has got the better of the ground game so far.
Case keeping moving, preventing Swagger from controlling successfully.
Case working a defensive guard here.
Case knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Swagger on the ground.

Swagger wants to stand but Case has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Case not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Case swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Swagger is now in Case's guard. A big mistake from Case there, giving up the dominant position!

Swagger is looking to advance position but Case won't allow it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sebastian Case showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Case has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
