Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Tyrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blake's entrance music is blink 182 feeling this. A fine choice. Stevie Tyrell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Blake circles away.
It looked like Blake wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A punch combination from Tyrell misses.
Blake fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Blake as Tyrell shoots in.
Tyrell keeps the fight on the outside.
Tyrell wants to counter the offense by Blake and move into the clinch position.
Tyrell moves away from the strike by Blake.

Blake clinches with his opponent.

Blake is fighting off a takedown attempt but Tyrell is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Blake to the mat. Blake regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Tyrell has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Blake is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blake is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Tyrell has latched onto it... Big trouble! Tyrell pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Blake is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Tyrell!
