Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sykk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Sykk tries to clinch up but Battle circles away and keeps his distance.
Battle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sykk.

Sykk tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Battle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Battle feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sykk sprawling to the canvas! Sykk rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Battle finish him?!

Sykk tries to clinch up but Battle pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Sykk to the mat! Sykk covers up and Battle unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

In his post fight interview, Dre Battle started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
