Hyypia comes to the cage accompanied by Al Bowlly - Hang out the stars in Indiana. Caiaphas Caine has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caine misses with a low kick.
A little feinted left hand from Hyypia on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Caine shoots in looking for a takedown. Hyypia tries to sprawl out of it but Caine keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hyypia manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hyypia loads up on a big right hand but Caine slips the punch.
Caine throws a sloppy head kick and Hyypia moves out of range easily.
Hyypia thinks about countering with a head kick.
Hyypia stuffs the takedown attempt from Caine. Caine gets slowly back to his feet.

Caine goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Caine misses with the head strike.
Hyypia prevents a body shot from Caine.
Caine fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Caine pulls Hyypia into guard.
Caine working a defensive guard but Hyypia manages to pass into side control anyway.

Hyypia decides to stand back up.
Hyypia moves out of range as Caine strikes.

Caine throws a body kick that misses.
A solid leg kick lands there for Caine.
Caine wants to clinch.
Caine tries a head kick but it misses.
Sami Hyypia is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Caine throws a body punch but Hyypia moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Caiaphas Caine has been cut.
Hyypia throws a hook to the side of Caine's head but Caine sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Caine throws the kick towards the body but Hyypia avoids it.
Hyypia wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Caine looks winded!

Hyypia cracks Caine with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Caine looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hyypia finish him?

Hyypia lands a big uppercut and Caine crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Caine looks OK. Hyypia waves Caine back to his feet!

Caine is rocked!

That has opened up Caiaphas Caine's cut even more.

Hyypia lands a body shot.
Hyypia drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Caine's head, knocking him out cold! Hyypia is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

A very excited looking Sami Hyypia rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
