Abarai has hold of Ostereguy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ostereguy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Abarai has control of Ostereguy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ostereguy regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ostereguy moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ostereguy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ostereguy wants it to stay on the feet.
Renji Abarai is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Abarai dives in for a single leg takedown but Ostereguy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
It seemed like Ostereguy was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
