Shavershian's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, John O'callaghan - Zyzz Version V2, - Find Yourself feat. Sarah Howells (Re. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing reports that Shavershian has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Raban has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Shavershian slips a jab and a cross from Raban.
Raban keeps Shavershian at a distance using the push kick.

Shavershian gets caught flat footed, as Raban shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Shavershian working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Raban doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Raban manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Raban has gone for a leg lock! Shavershian slips out almost immediately though and dives into Raban's guard.

Raban lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Horrible takedown attempt by Raban or perhaps it was just good defense by Shavershian, which made it look bad.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shavershian will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
