The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Gordan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Basayev lands a nice shot to the body.
Basayev drops Gordan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gordan looks back up at him and smiles so Basayev waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gordan is breathing heavily.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Basayev.
Basayev scores with a hook to the body. Gordan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Basayev throws a powerful right kick. Gordan tried to block low but the kick was high! Gordan was taken right off of his feet! Basayev jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
