The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Viljo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mythos moves away.
We've been hearing reports that Viljo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Mythos clinches with his opponent.

Mythos wants to get back to striking at distance but Viljo won't allow it.
With the fighters up against the cage, Viljo throws an elbow but misses.

Mythos clobbers Viljo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Viljo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mythos cracks Viljo with a good jab.
Viljo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

And Mythos tries to counter it with a takedown but Viljo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Mythos moves into the clinch.
Viljo throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Mythos throws a punch but it's blocked by Viljo.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mythos manages to break the clinch.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Viljo! Mythos is out on his feet! Viljo rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Mythos is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Mythos is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
