Cook has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie connects with a solid leg kick.
Cook looks winded!
Gracie connects with an inside leg kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Gracie.

Gracie moves into range and clinches up with Cook.
A nice left hand lands by Gracie.

Gracie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gracie keeps Cook at a distance using the push kick.
Rail Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by Gracie.
Gracie with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gracie lands with a kick to the ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cook stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Gracie.
An inside leg kick lands from Gracie.
Cook takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Cook sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Cook tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
We've been told by Gracie's head coaches at Convicted - Redemption that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Cook takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Gracie keeps Cook at a distance using the push kick.

Gracie throws a leg kick but Cook sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Cook's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Gracie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A good leg kick by Gracie.
That kick from Gracie tenderised Cook's leg. Cook is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gracie looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Gracie backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Cook's temple! It sends Cook violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Gracie celebrates and the doctors try to help Cook!

Rail Gracie bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
