Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scorchio Whitehouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erick Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darko is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by S.C.O.S.A - Flatbush Zombies. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Erick Darko!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Whitehouse sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Darko somewhat.
No luck for Darko with that takedown attempt.
Whitehouse's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Whitehouse duly obliges.
It looks like Erick Darko has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Darko.
Scorchio Whitehouse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erick Darko.
Whitehouse lands a nice hook to Darko's body. Darko takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Darko shoots for a double leg takedown but Whitehouse sprawls well. He's pushed Darko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Whitehouse scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Scorchio Whitehouse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Whitehouse lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Whitehouse lands a nice hook to Darko's body. Darko takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Whitehouse cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Nice sprawl there from Whitehouse as Darko shoots in.
Whitehouse lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Darko is still on wobbly legs! Can Whitehouse finish him?
Darko shoots in but no luck this time.
Whitehouse went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Darko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Whitehouse is fending him off so far but Darko persists. Nope, Whitehouse circles away and we're back to standing.
Darko looks winded!
Darko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Darko seems to have recovered his senses.

Whitehouse lands a nice shot that snaps Darko's head back.
Darko fails with the takedown
and Whitehouse counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Darko takes one to the side of the head.
Darko tries for a takedown but Whitehouse circles away easily
and Whitehouse counters with a crisp right that sends Darko to the canvas! Whitehouse follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Scorchio Whitehouse very nearly forgot to thank Lion Fightwear amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
