Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taj Trigger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Claymore Longshanks!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longshanks lands a nice shot that snaps Trigger's head back.
A punch lands to the side of Trigger 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Longshanks looks to land a combination but Trigger avoids it well.
Trigger misses with a few strikes there.
Longshanks fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
A jab from Longshanks misses.
Trigger tried to counter with a leg kick but Longshanks avoided it.
Longshanks uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Longshanks swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Trigger tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Trigger slips a jab from Longshanks.
Longshanks swings widly with a right hand
and Trigger finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Trigger misses with a series of wild punches.
Donk. Longshanks catches Trigger right on the button with a cross.
Trigger throws a head kick that looked like it stung.


It looks like Claymore Longshanks has been cut.
Longshanks scores with a punch to the head.

Longshanks drops Trigger with a beautiful combination! Trigger stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Longshanks is looking for the KO!


Trigger is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Trigger walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Trigger limp body while Longshanks jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Claymore Longshanks!
Claymore Longshanks decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
