Khan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bad Seed - Watch It Burn. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Pavelic counter with a right hand.
Khan avoids the head kick by Pavelic.
Khan throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Khan lands with a cross.
Khan throws a sloppy head kick and Pavelic moves out of range easily.
Pavelic fails in his attempt to clinch.

Pavelic closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
I was talking to Khan's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Khan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Pavelic has him pressed against the ropes.

Khan breaks the clinch.
Khan throws a head kick but Pavelic moves out of range.
Khan tries a head kick but it misses.
Khan swings for the body but Pavelic moves out of range.
Khan misses with a looping right.

Pavelic moves into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Khan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Khan lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Ganbaatar Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pavelic takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Khan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Khan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Khan lands a brutal head kick. Pavelic looks out on his feet and Khan throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

After winning the bout, Ganbaatar Khan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
