Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kalju Kulli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam McRae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kalju Kulli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liam McRae!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McRae lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A punch combination from Kulli misses.
McRae looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Kulli has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Body Pain_14elite_650$+VM in the buildup to the fight.
Kulli throws a right and a left that McRae avoids nicely.
Kulli looks to land a right hand but McRae moved out of range.

Kulli throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McRae tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kulli is in McRae's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kulli trying to control the position from guard on top but McRae is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McRae wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Kulli stops McRae from standing up.
Kulli stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McRae swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McRae keeping moving, preventing Kulli from controlling successfully.
McRae wants to stand and escape but Kulli is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kulli stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McRae swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McRae has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kulli checks a leg kick.
Kulli keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kulli fails with a takedown attempt.
Kulli ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

McRae gets tackled into the ropes by Kulli. Kulli maintains the clinch.
Kulli unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Kulli throws a blind hook that connects with the side of McRaes head.
A short body shot lands from Kulli as the two fighters clinch.
McRae fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Kulli breaks the clinch.
McRae misses with an uppercut. Kulli saw that one coming.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kulli lands a nice shot that snaps McRae's head back.
McRae blocks a head kick by Kulli.
McRae fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kulli manages to avoid it.
Nice sprawl there from McRae as Kulli shoots in.
McRae digs a good hook to Kulli's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kulli ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kulli throws a front kick that sends McRae stumbling back into the ropes.
McRae lands with a cross.
Kulli moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kulli misses with a lunging right hand
and McRae counters with a stiff right hand.
A big left from McRae misses.
Kulli misses with a takedown
and Kulli takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kalju Kulli. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kulli just misses with a punch to the body.
Kulli throws a head kick that misses.

McRae gets tackled into the ropes by Kulli. Kulli maintains the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from McRae fails to land.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for McRae.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kulli lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Kulli working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Kulli breaks the clinch.
Kulli throws a body punch but McRae moves out of range.
Kulli throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McRae stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kulli does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A nice inside leg kick there by McRae. That's going to slow Kulli down.
Kulli fails with the takedown
and McRae counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kulli tries a head kick but it misses.
McRae tries to move into range but Kulli moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
McRae uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kulli has time to react.
Liam McRae is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Good leg kick by McRae there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kulli ducks under a wild hook from McRae.
McRae tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kulli was well out of range. Poor timing from McRae.
McRae lands with a nice body punch.
McRae paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.


Kulli is rocked!
McRae scores with a jab to the body.
Oh Kulli is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McRae's coach down at The Skating Rink was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McRae's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
McRae scores with a nice right hand.
Kulli darts in looking for a takedown but McRae gets double underhooks and turns Kulli into the ropes.
McRae circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Kulli tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! McRae wins by KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Liam McRae!
In his post fight interview, Liam McRae started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
