Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sameh Mahmoud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iosue Nicu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicu has chosen It's Dark and Hell Is Hot as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Iosue Nicu is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahmoud bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Nicu felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Mahmoud misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Mahmoud throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nicu motions for Mahmoud to come forward. Nicu throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Nicu walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sameh Mahmoud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mahmoud tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nicu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mahmoud somewhat.

Nicu gets caught flat footed, as Mahmoud shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nicu is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nicu decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Mahmoud wants to clinch
and Nicu counters with an inside leg kick.
Mahmoud lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nicu throws a sloppy head kick and Mahmoud moves out of range easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mahmoud.

Mahmoud ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nicu moves away.

and Nicu counters with a head kick. That will keep Mahmoud thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Mahmoud thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nicu's head.

That was a close round but I would say that Sameh Mahmoud will probably get the nod.

Mahmoud lands with a nice combination. Nicu backs away looking to recover.

Nicu takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Nicu - that will leave a mark!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mahmoud crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Nicu - the referee stops the clock and Mahmoud gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Nicu. Mahmoud manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Sameh Mahmoud's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Nicu looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Nicu backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Mahmoud's temple! It sends Mahmoud violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Nicu celebrates and the doctors try to help Mahmoud!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Iosue Nicu!
A very excited looking Iosue Nicu made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
