The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid looks to land a body kick but Hunt moved away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Reid looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Reid tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hunt swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hunt. Reid does a little dance to reset his feet.

Pave Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Reid. Hunt shrugs it off though.

Hunt feints and then cracks Reid's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reid down.
Hunt smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Reid displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hunt throws out the jab.

A nice side step and Hunt releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Hunt tries a head kick but it misses.

Hunt breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hunt lands a nice looking kick to the body. Reid takes a step back to recover.
Hunt lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Hunt clinches up against the cage.
Hunt lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Reid.

Reid manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Reid is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hunt defends well.
Reid has a closed guard, preventing Hunt from standing up.

Reid is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hunt slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Reid is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hunt defends well.

Reid is looking for a triangle but Hunt pushes his legs off easily.
Hunt is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hunt is looking to stand up but Reid won't let him.

Hunt throws an overhand right that drops Reid like a sack of potatoes! Hunt dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
