Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jani McPetteri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joshua Levenstein !
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPetteri thows a body kick. Levenstein tries to catch it but that hurt him.
McPetteri moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
McPetteri lands a leg kick that knocks Levenstein off balance momentarily.
McPetteri tries to land a leg kick but Levenstein saw it coming and moves away.
McPetteri lands a big uppercut and Levenstein crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Levenstein looks OK. McPetteri waves Levenstein back to his feet!
Levenstein is rocked!
It looks like Joshua Levenstein has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McPetteri throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Levenstein fails with a takedown attempt.
McPetteri lands a nice looking kick to the body. Levenstein takes a step back to recover.
Levenstein shoots in for a double leg but McPetteri sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
McPetteri cracks Levenstein with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. McPetteri has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Levenstein to stand back up!
Levenstein is still on wobbly legs! Can McPetteri finish him?
Good leg kick by McPetteri there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Look low, kick high! McPetteri uses the oldest trick in the book to send Levenstein tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! McPetteri is absolutely delighted - when Levenstein wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jani McPetteri!
Joshua Levenstein was interviewed post fight and said 'This guy is a veteran he has amazing career and a lot of experiance it's an Honor for me to fight him. Hey , thank you for coming i promise next time my hand will be rised this is just the begining.'.
