The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sankalpa closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sankalpa tries for a kimura but Green is defending well.
Sankalpa is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Green has escaped the position, nice work there.
Sankalpa tries to move to mount but Green blocks the move with his legs.
Sankalpa stands up and beckons Green to his feet.
Sankalpa moves into the clinch successfully.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sankalpa has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Green regains guard immediately.
Sankalpa gets to his feet - Green follows without any prompting.
Green lands a head kick. Sankalpa smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Green throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Sankalpa darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Sankalpa is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
