Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quail will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Quail darts in and clinches Asap up against the cage.

Quail is trying to force a seperation but Asap has the dominant position.
Quail is trying to stall.
Asap keeps control of Quail as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Asap lands with a light punch inside.
Quail wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Quail must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Quail is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Asap looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Asap throws an overhand right that lands on Quail's shoulder, as Quail tries to avoid the shot.

Asap tries to counter by clinching up but Quail breaks away and moves out of range.

Quail shoots for a double leg takedown but Asap sprawls well. He's pushed Quail's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Asap misses with a straight left.

Quail drives through and clinches with Asap against the cage.
Asap will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Quail up against the cage.

Quail is trying to drag Asap to the mat but Asap just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Quail has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Asap seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Quail can turn it around.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Asap wants to get back to his feet but Quail is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Asap has control of Quail's left arm, preventing Quail from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Asap has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Quail is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Quail wants a takedown but no success here.
Sprint Asap has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toby Quail.
Still in the clinch, Asap scores with a nice short uppercut.
