Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marion Bright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Jones is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bright tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily
and Jones counters with a one-two to the body.

Jones manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bright on his heels. He'll look to pass Bright's guard now, I'm sure.

Jones stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Bright shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bright gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Jones is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bright is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jones to the mat. Jones regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Jones lands a huge takedown. Bright is out but the ref is slow to react and Jones lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Bright lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
