Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanaka Sushi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gabriel Angelo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tanaka Sushi!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sushi pinned against the cage. Sushi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Sushi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Angelo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sushi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Angelo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sushi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Angelo shoots in for a takedown but Sushi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Sushi closes the distance and clinches up with Angelo, looking for a takedown. Sushi pushes Angelo against the cage but Angelo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Angelo shoots in looking for a takedown. Sushi tries to sprawl out of it but Angelo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sushi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Angelo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Come on Sushi - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

As Sushi looks to move away, Angelo throws a big counter combo but Sushi just gets out of the way.

Sushi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Gabriel Angelo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sushi stuffs the takedown attempt from Angelo. Angelo gets slowly back to his feet.
Sushi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Angelo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sushi's waist but Sushi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Angelo off to one side.

Angelo closes the distance and clinches up with Sushi, looking for a takedown. Angelo pushes Sushi against the cage but Sushi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Angelo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sushi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Tanaka Sushi will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Angelo shoots in for a double leg but Sushi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Sushi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Horrible takedown attempt by Sushi or perhaps it was just good defense by Angelo, which made it look bad.

Tanaka Sushi is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Angelo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sushi, who protects the arm well.

Tanaka Sushi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Sushi winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
