Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Imperiex Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfred Hammarskjold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammarskjold is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rasmus på luffen - Luffarvisan. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alfred Hammarskjold!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammarskjold shoots in for a takedown but Prime shows good takedown defense.
Hammarskjold walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Alfred Hammarskjold has been cut.
Imperiex Prime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Prime throws a jab but it's blocked by Hammarskjold.
Prime misses with a series of wild punches.
Hammarskjold swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
A telegraphed right hand from Prime misses the target.
Prime throws a hook to the side of Hammarskjold's head but Hammarskjold sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Prime throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Prime displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hammarskjold.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prime pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A jab from Prime does it's job there.
Prime looks to land a right hand but Hammarskjold moved out of range.
It seemed like Hammarskjold was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Prime chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Prime swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Prime is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hammarskjold.
Prime throws a looping overhand right but Hammarskjold ducks down to avoid it.

Hammarskjold shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Prime manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Prime tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hammarskjold throws a big elbow that misses.
Hammarskjold postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Prime controls Hammarskjold momentarily but Hammarskjold frees himself.
Prime knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hammarskjold on the ground.
Prime manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hammarskjold manages to get himself to full guard.

Prime looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Prime looking to pass the guard.
Prime missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Hammarskjold controls Prime momentarily but Prime frees himself.
Prime advances position into side control!
Prime wants to control but Hammarskjold is keeping him busy.
Hammarskjold has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hammarskjold is trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Prime landing a few strikes.
Prime wants to take a breather but Hammarskjold manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Prime.
Prime working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hammarskjold keeping moving, preventing Prime from controlling successfully.
Hammarskjold is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Prime is controlling him.
Prime content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Prime advances to half guard.
Hammarskjold is looking to improve his position.
Prime is looking to take a break and control but Hammarskjold is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Hammarskjold punching from the bottom.
Prime lands strikes from half guard.
Prime will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hammarskjold tries to roll over but Prime keeps him under control.
Prime lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Imperiex Prime dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Alfred Hammarskjold's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Prime ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Prime waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hammarskjold.
Prime is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Prime feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hammarskjold sprawling to the canvas! Hammarskjold rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Prime finish him?!

That has opened up Alfred Hammarskjold's cut even more.

Prime cracks Hammarskjold with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Prime has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Hammarskjold to stand back up!

The cut above Alfred Hammarskjold's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hammarskjold keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hammarskjold is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Prime drops Hammarskjold with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hammarskjold looks back up at him and smiles so Prime waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Hammarskjold is rocked!

Alfred Hammarskjold's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alfred Hammarskjold's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Imperiex Prime!
