The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Shot.
We've been hearing reports that Walian has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Walian looks to land a body kick but Shot moved away.
Walian pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Shot uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Walian.

Shot scores with a decent looking hook.
Walian feints and then cracks Shot's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shot down.

Walian is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walian is looking for a sweep. Shot is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Shot drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Walian dives on top into guard.

Shot is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Walian presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Walian throws a punch but it's blocked by Shot.

Shot tries to stall but Walian uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Shot breaks from the clinch.
Walian throws a head kick that half lands.
Shot steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Walian.
Walian shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Shot but Shot pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Walian misses with an attempted mid kick.
A punch combination from Shot misses.
Shot stuffs the takedown attempt from Walian. Walian gets slowly back to his feet.

Walian takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Good shot there by Shot.

A close round but Sebastian Shot will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Shot wants to slow Walian down by chopping away at his legs.

Shot gets tackled into the cage by Walian. Walian maintains the clinch.
Walian will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Shot up against the cage.

Walian manages to break the clinch.
Walian gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Shot avoids the head kick by Walian.
Shot avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Shot! But no joy.
Shot uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walian checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Walian sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Shot to the ground! Walian dives into full mount looking to finish!

It looks like Sebastian Shot has been cut.
Walian cracks Shot with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
