Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kizeal Ingram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Vega told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vega connects with a looping right hand.
Vega bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Vega shoots in and drives through. Ingram sprawls well.
Vega uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ingram.

Vega closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Vega is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ingram is just riding it out for now. Vega eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Vega cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Ingram sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Vega is looking for a kimura but Ingram is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Vega to get the leverage.
