The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lewis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hammet closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lewis circles away.
Hammet will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
As Hammet looks to move away, Lewis throws a big counter combo but Hammet just gets out of the way.
Hammet is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lewis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Lewis digs a good body shot into Hammet's ribs.

Lewis moves into the clinch.

Lewis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lewis pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Lewis slaps away a takedown attempt from Hammet, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Lewis bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hammet's head backwards.
Lewis connects with a solid leg kick.
Lewis misses with the combination.
Hammet throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lewis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hammet shoots in for a double leg but Lewis sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hammet has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Lewis.
Lewis feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Hammet collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
