The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccarty throws out a loose jab but Crowe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Crowe shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Mccarty is defending against the submission attempts here by Crowe.
Mccarty trying to get back to full guard but Crowe takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crowe looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Crowe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mccarty can't escape the position.
Crowe throwing strikes here but Mccarty is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Crowe quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Crowe but it's paid off an Mccarty is forced to tap! Nice work by Crowe.
