Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyle Kingsley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Headden!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingsley dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kyle Kingsley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Headden keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
We've been hearing reports that Kingsley has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Kingsley misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kingsley dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Headden. That did some damage!
Headden shoots in looking for a takedown but Kingsley manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Headden's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Headden is taking a breather. Kingsley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Headden is pressing down on Kingsley's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kingsley is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
